![]() | Dr. El Bindari Hammad has devoted her carrier to public heath issues. She was a member of the Board of FXB Centre for Health and Human Rights at Harvard University. She served for more than thirty years as a UN staff member to the WHO, where she was appointed Executive Director/Assistant Director General. Within the WHO, she was responsible for Health in Development policy and was fundamental to the initiation of the human rights programme and the creation of its Commission on Women. |
